Falling Feathers
Five layers of spray-painted wood come together to create this colorful wall hanging. This unique wall art, with it’s bold geometric shapes and strong colors, was inspired by the art deco movement. Especially an old wall paper caught my eye in a bar in Berlin – I loved it’s elegant beauty, that felt vintage, yet incredibly hip and modern at the same time. I made some scribbles on a napkin and those were the starting point for this piece. Precisely lasercut and carefully arranged layers create a captivating 3D effect and turn my flat wallpaper scribbles into a eye-catching wall sculpture.
